Iran's position has been clearly conveyed to the Pakistani side, Tasnim said, referring to a source, APA's Tehran bureau reports.
According to the source, contrary to reports circulated by some media outlets, Pakistan's Chief of Army Staff, Field Marshal Asim Munir, did not bring any threat or similar message from the United States to Iran.
It was reported that the purpose of Asim Munir's visit was to expand opportunities for talks, as well as to convey Iran's conditions to the US side.
The source added that during the meetings with Munir, Iran's position was clearly conveyed to the Pakistani side.
“Iran's conditions include the United States' return to the Islamabad agreement and implementation of its provisions, including the arrangements determined by Iran regarding the Strait of Hormuz under Clause 5,” the source said.
According to the report, this position was conveyed to Pakistan, and Islamabad is seeking to communicate the said conditions to the United States.
