A Strategic Partnership Framework aimed at strengthening the strategic partnership between Türkiye and the United Kingdom and expanding the scope of cooperation through closer dialogue has been signed, the Turkish Foreign Ministry said, APA’s Türkiye bureau reports.
According to the information, Türkiye’s Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan met with the United Kingdom’s Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs Yvette Cooper in London.
Following the meeting, the “Strategic Partnership Framework” was signed between the Republic of Türkiye and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
It was noted that the document is aimed at further expanding cooperation between Türkiye and the United Kingdom in areas such as defense, trade and energy, and at deepening strategic relations between the two countries.
