$1.2 million was stolen from a Russian plane that crashed in Afghanistan, reported by Hasht e Subh newspaper, citing local sources, APA reports.

According to the publication, one million 200 thousand US dollars were stolen from the plane that crashed in the Afghan province of Badakhshan.

After the theft of this amount of money, the Governor of the Taliban* in Badakhshan province, Muhammad Ayub Khalid, on the orders of the Deputy Prime Minister of this group, Muhammad Hassan Akhund, appointed a fact-finding and investigation commission into the case.
