On January 23, a Russian aircraft flying from Phuket to Barnaul made a safe landing in the Chinese city of Lanzhou, APA reports, citing the Telegram channel of Azur Air.

Problems with the oil pressure sensor, engine malfunction, and loss of thrust prompted the crew to request an emergency landing in China.

There were 238 passengers on board, and no one was injured.

According to the information, the aircraft, carrying 238 passengers on board, took off from Thailand four hours earlier.

The airline’s press service said that flight ZF-2998 is preparing for an unscheduled landing at Lanzhou Airport.

The company’s relevant services are keeping the situation under control.
