Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian revealed that a plan had been devised to take control of Iran within 48 hours, "just as they did in Syria", APA reports.
In a public address on Wednesday, the Iranian leader stressed that despite the hardships Iran has faced over the past two years, the country is now recognized as powerful and highly respected. He also described Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei as an "exceptional figure," rejecting claims about the Islamic Revolution leader's treatment of the government as inconsistent with the character he had personally witnessed.
However, Pezeshkian mentioned that communication with the supreme leader is currently "very difficult."
