More than 12,000 people have been wounded and 1,255 people killed in the past nine days in Iran, Ali Jafarian, Iran’s deputy health minister told Al Jazeera, APA reports.
According to him, the victims’ age ranged from eight months to 88 years old.
Among those, 200 women and 168 children were killed.
In addition, 55 healthcare workers were wounded and 11 were killed, including four physicians, two nurses and three emergency workers
