Omani Foreign Minister meets with Araghchi in Tehran

Oman’s Foreign Minister Badr Albusaidi held talks with Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi during a visit to Tehran, WANA News Agency reports.

The top Omani diplomat, who arrived in Iran at noon today, met and consulted with Araghchi. During his stay in Tehran, he is also scheduled to hold meetings with several other high-ranking officials of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The central focus of the discussions between officials of both countries during this visit is consultation regarding their agreement to designate a designated waterway in the Strait of Hormuz for the safe passage of ships, as well as reviewing the latest agreements reached between Tehran and Muscat in this regard.
