Authorities in Japan and South Korea have reported what they suspect to be a North Korean missile launch, APA reports citing Kyodo.
North Korea fired on Monday what appears to be a ballistic missile, which is believed to have already fallen into the sea, Japan's Defense Ministry said.
The South Korean military also said North Korea launched a ballistic missile toward the Sea of Japan.
North Korea's last ballistic missile launch was on April 2, with the projectile falling into waters outside Japan's exclusive economic zone in the Sea of Japan, according to the Japanese Defense Ministry.
