Israel intends to intensify strikes against Hezbollah targets in Lebanon in response to drone attacks on Israeli territory, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced, APA reports.
"We are at war with Hezbollah," Netanyahu said in a short video message posted on his Telegram channel.
According to him, the Israeli military has killed more than 600 members of Shiite militias in just a few weeks. "We're not taking our foot off the gas. On the contrary. I've given the order to press the gas even harder. We'll hit them. Yes, they're launching drones at us. We have a special team that deals with that, and we'll solve that problem too," Netanyahu continued.
Addressing residents of northern Israel, the prime minister praised their resilience and assured them that the army would take measures to protect them. "Now we must intensify our attacks, increase our force, and we will hit them hard," he concluded.
