Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has announced that hangars housing RQ-4 and MQ-9 long-range unmanned aerial vehicles at the US “Prince Hassan” Air Base in Jordan were struck with ballistic missiles in response to US attacks, APA’s Tehran bureau reports.
According to a statement issued by the IRGC, several unmanned aerial vehicles were destroyed in the attack, while some pilots and members of the technical flight crew were also killed.
The statement also noted that several technical infrastructure facilities were set on fire during the attacks.
The IRGC also announced that the headquarters and residential area of the US commander at the Ali Al Salem Air Base in Kuwait, as well as a UAV hangar at the base and the area where they were stationed, were set on fire.
According to the statement, several members of the opposing forces were killed in the incident, while several unmanned aerial vehicles were also destroyed.
