Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said Sunday that any aggression directed at the country’s supreme leader would be seen as “all-out war” against Iran, after US President Donald Trump called for new leadership in the country, APA reports citing CNN.
“The hardships faced by the people of Iran today are largely the result of longstanding hostility and inhumane sanctions imposed by the US and its allies,” Pezeshkian posted on X.
He added that any aggression against Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, is “tantamount to an all-out war against the nation.”
