More than 1,000 volunteer battalions will be created in Iran as part of the "Sacrificing Yourself" campaign to defend the country from a US attack, it was announced in a statement by the campaign headquarters, APA reports.
According to him, every resident of the country can participate in the campaign and register as a volunteer to defend Iran. Due to the large number of volunteers, the decision was made to form 1,000 battalions.
After September 15, all registered volunteers will be able to take military training and first aid courses.
Data on the website shows that the campaign organizers have received more than 31.5 million applications to date.
