Relations between Iran and Armenia are quite constructive and close, Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Nasser Kanani said at a press conference held today, APA reports.
According to him, there is a mutual desire to develop friendship and comprehensive relations between the two countries: “Both sides emphasize the importance of maintaining stability and security in the region, as well as safeguarding security at the borders.
We do not comment on the bilateral issues between the countries, but we stress that we are not positive about the presence of the United States in the region."
