Iran’s Parliament Vice-Speaker Ali Nikzad has denied claims that the United States is engaged in negotiations with Iran and said the Supreme Leader has not authorized such talks, Iranian Fararu agency reports.
Nikzad also dismissed allegations that Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf is conducting negotiations with the US, calling them unfounded.
He emphasized that decisions on war, peace, and negotiations fall under the authority of the Supreme Leader and that no permission has been granted for talks.
Nikzad also stated that the Strait of Hormuz will never be opened, adding that no discussions have been or will be held on the matter.
