The Iranian army has carried out a drone strike on a facility of Bahrain’s largest telecommunications operator Batelco, where Amazon Web Services servers are located, APA reports.
According to local media, disruptions began in server operations following the attack.
Power outages occurred and damage was reported at data centers, affecting banking operations and airline reservation systems.
It should be noted that, according to Bahrain’s Ministry of Defense, 186 missiles and 419 drones launched by Iran have been intercepted by air defense systems since the beginning of the war.
