Search and rescue teams continue operations regarding the Turkish aircraft that crashed on the Azerbaijan-Georgia border, said Burhanettin Duran, Head of the Communications Department of the Turkish Presidential Administration, APA reports.
According to him, the bodies of the servicemen who died in the plane crash will be brought to Türkiye by the A-400M aircraft that transported the search and rescue and emergency teams to Georgia.
He thanked the Georgian authorities for their prompt response and support in connection with the incident.
Note that yesterday, a Turkish C-130 military transport plane heading from Azerbaijan to Türkiye crashed in Georgia. All 20 servicemen on board the plane lost their lives as a result of the accident. The bodies of 19 of the 20 servicemen who died in the Turkish C-130 plane that crashed in Georgia have been found.
