A person who dragged Ukraine into a destructive war cannot deceive regional countries, Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmail Baghaei said, APA’s Tehran correspondent reports.
Commenting on Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s efforts to intervene in the ongoing war in the Middle East, Baghaei stated that regional countries remain vigilant.
“I think regional countries are alert. A person who has dragged his country into a destructive war over the past four years cannot deceive them. In general, such behavior – for example, linking the Ukraine war with events in our region – is a serious miscalculation. I believe regional countries will not fall into such a trap,” Baghaei said.
