China and the United States should find the right way for two major countries to coexist peacefully in the new era, Chinese President Xi Jinping said in a written statement issued on the first day of his state visit to the United States, APA reports.
Xi said he would hold an in-depth exchange of views with U.S. President Donald Trump on China-U.S. relations and major issues concerning the global situation.
According to the Chinese leader, Beijing and Washington should develop relations based on constructive strategic stability and expand opportunities for cooperation and engagement in various fields.
