Baku-APA. Two men were shot outside of a courthouse in the U.S. state of North Carolina Tuesday and the courthouse was put on lockdown thereafter, APA reports quoting US media.
Gunfire broke out sometime before noon in front of the Nash County Courthouse, about 72 kilometers northeast of Raleigh, capital of North Carolina, said the local media reports.
The victims of the shooting were said to have no-life- threatening wounds. Local police sources said there were two suspects who escaped on foot after the shooting.
No other details, such as the motive of the shooting, are available at the moment.
