President Obama took to Twitter to suggest that Scotland vote against independence on Thursday, and remain a part of the United Kingdom, APA reports quoting USA Today.
"The UK is an extraordinary partner for America and a force for good in an unstable world. I hope it remains strong, robust and united," Obama tweeted, signing with the tell-take salutation "bo."
Scotland holds independence referendum today. The people in Scotland are casting their votes on Thursday to decide whether the country should stay in the United Kingdom or become an independent nation. The independence referendum could result in Scotland’s separation from the UK after more than 300 years of political union.
