Canadian lawmakers have voted in favor of sending forces to join the international coalition launching attacks on the Islamic State jihadist militia in Iraq for a six-month mission.
Six hundred Canadian Air Forces and other military personnel, six jets and other fighter aircraft are set to go to Iraq shortly.
Two opposition parties, the New Democrats and the Liberals, voted against.
