Baku – APA. Armenian citizen was arrested while trying to obtain a fake driver's license in the U.S.
APA reports quoting the Armenian media that it was reported by Herald & Review newspaper.
Local law-enforcement officers arrested Michael Simonyan at the Illinois Secretary of State office. Prosecutor Gina Van der Heijden said that Simonyan used two bank accounts for community charges to obtain a driver’s license. The detained person submitted a fake immigration document.
Armenian citizen will be fined $25,000 and sentenced to 3-year imprisonment for committing fraud.
