US President Donald Trump said on Friday that he had not decided whether to authorize major strikes on Iran, while suggesting Tehran was becoming more serious in negotiations with Washington, APA reports.
"I haven't made a decision on major strikes on Iran," Trump said during remarks at the White House. He added that he believed Iran was "getting more serious in talks as days go by," while stressing that the United States remained prepared to act if diplomacy failed.
When asked about the possible implications for the November midterm elections, the president said, "Elections will take care of themselves."
