US Cyber Command is investigating a series of suicides involving its personnel during the summer of 2026, seeking to determine the factors behind the deaths, Bloomberg reported, citing sources.
According to the report, at least five individuals serving directly within US Cyber Command or working closely with the organization died by suicide between early June and early July.
Bloomberg said the command's workload has increased significantly over the past year due to overseas conflicts, including military operations against Iran.
The report noted that the growing operational tempo has heightened concerns among officials about the mental health and well-being of military cyber personnel.
Established in 2010, US Cyber Command has reportedly faced chronic shortages of qualified specialists in key positions throughout much of its existence.
