Today, the US, Ukrainian, and Russian delegations reached an agreement on the exchange of 314 prisoners of war, US President's Special Representative Steve Witkoff posted on his "X" account, APA reports.
"This result was achieved as a result of detailed and productive peace negotiations. Also, such important steps demonstrate that sustained diplomatic activity is yielding real results and is moving towards an end to the war in Ukraine," he noted.
Witkoff stressed that the negotiations will continue and that additional progress is expected in the coming weeks.
