US President Donald Trump has once again spoken about the need to hold elections in Ukraine, APA reports, citing Clash Report
"Zelensky needs to be realistic. I'm surprised that Ukraine hasn't had an election in a long time," Trump said.
According to him, 82 percent of Ukrainians are supposedly demanding the signing of a peace agreement with Russia:
"They want an agreement to be signed. I understand that. Thousands of people are being killed every week. They want this war to end."
The US President also reiterated that it is time to end the war in Ukraine.
"It's time to end this war, and I think it can be resolved. But it takes two to tango," Trump stressed.
