US President Donald Trump has announced that he will deliver two speeches at the Republican Party convention to be held in Dallas, Texas, on September 9 and 10, APA reports.
“I will be speaking tomorrow evening, Wednesday, and at the conclusion of the event on Thursday,” Trump wrote on his Truth Social account.
He noted that priority at the event should be given to Republican candidates who will face the toughest contests in the upcoming congressional elections.
According to Trump, the main goal is to support candidates who are narrowly leading or trailing in the elections, or whose chances appear evenly matched.
Vice President James David Vance, the secretaries of the Treasury, Justice and Health, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, and several members of Congress are also expected to address the convention.
