“I guess I can tell you, I am considering it,” he told a room full of governors, who were gathered for a White House breakfast, prompting laughter. Press was swiftly ushered out of the room before the breakfast began.
But he seemed to joke about the reporter’s question as cameras left the room. “Who is that person?” he said. “Are you considering a military strike?”
