US President Donald Trump believes the United States will soon achieve victory over Iran, APA reports.
"We will win, it will be soon, because we have already won, because they cannot have nuclear weapons," he said in an interview with the GB News television channel.
"I did the right thing," he added, asserting that without the US decision to begin striking the Islamic Republic, Tehran could have acquired nuclear weapons "in two, maybe four weeks," but now that timeframe has been extended to 25 years.
At the same time, the American leader assured that the United States is conducting successful operations against Iran and "controls the Strait of Hormuz."
