Progress has been made in negotiations on reopening the Strait of Hormuz, but a final agreement has not yet been reached, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio said, APA reports.
According to Rubio, negotiations with Iran are ongoing, and Washington hopes that a final agreement will be reached in the near future.
The U.S. Secretary of State noted that ships are currently continuing to transit through the Strait of Hormuz.
"Ships are passing through the strait. Oil shipments are also continuing. The Strait of Hormuz is open," Rubio added.
