It requires a special effort to restart the relations with the U.S. against this background, Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze noted on X following his conversation with Counselor of the U.S. Department of State Derek Chollet, APA's Tbilisi correspondent reports.
"I clarified to Mr. Chollet that it requires a special effort to restart the relations against this background, which is impossible without a fair and honest approach."
Concluding his post, Kobakhidze mentioned that there was a brutal crackdown of the students' protest rally in New York City.
"I have not expressed my concerns with Mr. Chollet about a brutal crackdown of the students' protest rally in New York City," the Prime Minister noted.
