As of August, 2013, the producer prices of agriculture products increased by 0.8% compared to month ago, including producer prices of live animal and animal –breeding products rose 2.3%, of annual plants decreased by 0.7%, of perennial plants – by 0.4%, State Statistics Committee told APA.
Producer prices of wheat from annual plants surged 0.8%, corn – 0.2%, barley – 2.5%, cucumber – 2.3%, dry grass – 5.6%. Producer prices of tomato slipped 0.6%, egg-plant – 6.8%, green bean – 6.6%, cabbage – 0.5%, greens – 0.2%, onion – 1%, melon and watermelon – 22.6%. Producer prices of lemon from perennial plants soared 0.9%, strawberry – 0.1%. Producer prices of pear dropped 0.1%, peach – 2.2%, cherry-plum – 0.1%, walnut and hazelnut – 0.3% and 4.8%.
Producer prices of beef from animals and animal-breeding products (live) increased by 0.7%, milk – by 0.6%, live sheep and goats – by 0.5%, live poultry – by 2.1%, egg – by 34.4%. Along with this increase, producer prices of a cow decreased by 0.3%, buffalo – 0.6%, fowl-flesh (live) – 1.5%.
