Baku. Farid Mirzeyev – APA. Presentation of Twinning Project "Support to the State Veterinary Control Service (SVCS) in Strengthening the Epidemiological Surveillance System in Azerbaijan" was held in Baku.
The event was organized by Ministry of Agriculture and EU.
It was noted in the event that, the project to last till May 18, 2018 will be implemented by the Ministry of Agriculture of Azerbaijan, the Ministry of Agriculture, Agrifood, and Forestry of France and Hungarian National Food Chain Safety Office.
Deputy minister of agriculture of Azerbaijan Seyfaddin Talibov said the EU has always supported agrarian reforms conducted in Azerbaijan since 1994-1995.
Head of the EU Delegation to Azerbaijan Malena Mard informed about importance of the project.
The personal advisor of the French Ambassador, Fabienne Drout-Lozinski and Deputy Ambassador of Hungary to Azerbaijan Laszlo Makk wished success to the project executors.
Acting Chief of the State Veterinary Control Service Azer Suleymanov the twinning project aims to contribute to economic growth in agriculture in Azerbaijan.
Four components of the twining project were also presented at the event.
