Paris hosts discussions on international horse racing to be held in Azerbaijan

Ministry of Agriculture says that the preparatory works carried out by the Ministry on international horse racing were discussed at the meeting. Besides, the issues in the report on preliminary evaluation of veterinary sphere in Azerbaijan by the OIE experts, achievements and joint solution of the necessary works were discussed at the meeting. The OIE Director General noted that a mission consisting of experts of organization would be sent to Azerbaijan to assess the current situation on racings.

Abbasov has also met President of the OIE Regional Commission for Europe and OIE Regional Representative for Eastern Europe Nicola Belev to discuss concrete measures on the preparation for international horse racing in Azerbaijan. They discussed improvement of relevant legislation on preparation for horse racing and implementation of identification process of horses.
