Baku - APA-Economics. Azerbaijani delegation is on a visit to Paris to attend the 81st General Session of the World Assembly of Delegates of the Organization of International Epizootic representatives on May 26-31. The delegation led by Minister of Agriculture Ismat Abbasov has met with the President of International Equestrian Federation, Goodwill Ambassador of the International Organization of Epizooties, Princess Haya Bint Al Hussein of Jordan. According to Ministry, Abbasov also participated in the opening of memorial plaque in front of house, where Alimardan bay Topchubashov lived.
Within the visit, Abbasov met with Dr. Karin Schwabenbauer, Preident of OIE. He informed about legislation in veterinarian sphere and institutional reforms, activity of international donors, including project of European Union on aid for budget “support to agriculture and rural territories”. Dr. Schwabenbauer expressed her satisfaction with reforms in Azerbaijan and noted tat the organization is ready to provide necessary support.
