According to the statement, the retail price of a 50-kg sack of high quality flour has fallen to AZN 23-24 throughout the country, APA reported.
“The price of flour is considerably cheaper than in neighboring countries. For instance, a 50-kg sack of high quality flour sells at AZN 31-32 in Georgia and AZN 30-33 in Turkey. As for the price of bread, the retail price of 500-gram bread made of high quality flour in Azerbaijan is AZN 0.30. And the retail price of 500-gram bread made of high quality flour in Georgia is AZN 0.50 to 0.70, in Turkey AZN 1.10 to 1.20, and in Russia AZN 0.60 to 0.80,” says the ministry’s statement.
