Baku. Aynur Aliyeva - APA-Economics. Agriculture Minister Heydar Asadov of Azerbaijan received today the head of the Baku Office of the European Bank for Reconstruction & Development (EBRD) Nile McCain.
During the meeting, Minister Asadov reported that the country has created a favorable investment environment.
"In this connection, I propose that the EBRD to consider the issues of creation of agricultural parks in Azerbaijan with Bank’s support and form new financial framework for the financing of agricultural loans,” the Minister said.
In turn, Mr. McCain said that the EBRD attaches great importance to the issue of cooperation with Azerbaijan in the agrarian sphere, and, to this end, the studies will be conducted.
