According to him, Turkey has a good experience in agrarian sphere: “For example, not even 1% of arable lands has been insured in Azerbaijan. We can learn from Turkey how to improve agrarian insurance. One of the main problems in agrarian sphere is small farms. Genetic potential of the animal breeding is still low. Turkey has successful pedigree stock-breeding. At the same time, it’s needed establishment of seed-farms. On the other hand, investments in agriculture are low”.
He considers that for solution of these problems the farmers need support by the government.
