Generally, main part of milk production in Azerbaijan falls to share of 26 companies. Though diary farm increases in the country, local producers can not meet the demand for milk and milk products. So, according to official statistics, Azerbaijan’s level for meeting itself with milk and milk products makes 73%.
The experts forecast that the demand for milk products will increase in the future. Because of share of milk products in the ration of Azerbaijani population reaches the level of foreign countries.
