Baku. Aynir Aliyeva – APA-Economics. Baku will host the 53rd meeting of Board of Trustees of the International Center for Agricultural Research in the Dry Areas (ICARDA).
According to Ministry of Agriculture, the meeting to be held on November 30-Deceber 4 will be attended by nearly 70 persons from 30 countries, including members of Board of Trustees, program chiefs, heads of agricultural research system of the Central and Asian countries and persons accompanying them.
According to Ministry, execution of research programs carried out by the ICARD in the regions, especially results of programs on situation of international cooperation in agricultural researches, influence of climate changing on agriculture and food security, agricultural policy and international markets, biodiversity and integrated gene management, animal-breeding, fishery, protection of ecosystem and etc spheres, as well as investment plans for next years will be discussed at the meeting.
