Azerbaijani Agriculture Minister to attend Berlin Agriculture Ministers' Summit - PHOTO

Baku. Aynur Aliyeva – APA-Economics. Azerbaijan’s Minister of Agriculture Heydar Asadov, who is on a visit to Germany, will today attend the Agriculture Ministers' Summit in Berlin. The ministry’s press service told APA that yesterday the minister participated in the opening of the Azerbaijani stand at the Green Week international Exhibition in Berlin.

The Azerbaijani stand was also viewed by German Federal Minister of Food, Agriculture and Consumer Protection Hans-Peter Friedrich and Berlin Mayor Klaus Wowereit. They became familiarized with our foods and agricultural products.

Asadov also met with experts at the German Federal Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Consumer Protection. They exchanged views on to closely familiarize with the German agricultural practice. Azerbaijan Ambassador to German Parviz Shahbazov and advisor of the Embassy Rizvan Nabiyev also attended the meetings.

This year, Azerbaijan was represented with 9 companies more than 100 agricultural and food products. Moreover, various materials, journals, brochures and disks were demonstrated at the exhibition.

This was the 7th participation of Azerbaijan in this exhibition. Green Week that has been organized since 1926 is the internationally leading public exhibition for the food, agriculture, and gardening industry.
