Baku – APA-Economics. Azerbaijan’s Minister of Agriculture Heydar Asadov, who is paying a visit to Israel to discuss prospects of cooperation in the field of agriculture, met with the country’s Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman, Ministry of Agriculture told APA-Economics.
The sides said there are wide opportunities for cooperation in a number of spheres, including agriculture. Heydar Asadov gave information about the spheres, where Israel’s advanced agricultural technologies could be applied in Azerbaijan. Azerbaijani Minister said international food industry and agriculture fair would be held in Baku in May, the fair could be an important platform for cooperation between the business circles of the two countries.
Avigdor Lieberman underlined the importance of developing cooperation between the two countries in the field of agriculture.
Heydar Asadov plans to meet with Israel’s Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Yair Shamir.
