Baku. Aynur Aliyeva – APA-Economics. Artificial insemination in agriculture sector of Azerbaijan enhanced. This is a new sphere in the republic. The animals from artificial insemination are very productive. This year, 80,000 animals will be inseminated artificially in the republic, department head at the Ministry of Agriculture Chingiz Farajov told APA-Economics.
But he say insemination of 80,000 animals is low: “We must inseminate at least 200-300,000 cows, buffalos, heifer every year”.
Farajov noted that the works in this sphere intensified: “For example, insemination of cows and buffalos in Zagatala makes 12% and will reach 80%. Animal breeding can not develop without artificial insemination”.
