A total of 134 trucks were produced in Azerbaijan in January–February this year, APA-Economics reports, citing the State Statistical Committee.
This figure increased 11.2 times compared to the same period last year.
Additionally, 716 passenger cars were produced during the reporting period, which is 53.3% more year-on-year.
It should be noted that during the reporting period, imports of motor vehicles designed to carry 10 or more people, including the driver, increased 2.3 times to 243 units, imports of passenger cars and other motor vehicles mainly intended for transporting people decreased by 31.4% to 10,488 units, and imports of motor vehicles for cargo transportation decreased by 13.4% to 1,096 units.
