Baku. Nijat Mustafayev – APA-Economics. Farmer cooperatives will increase the volume of total agricultural output and reduce their cost price in Azerbaijan, said Minister of Agriculture Ismat Abasov, APA-Economics reports.
To him, Azerbaijani farmers have already understood the advantages of a joint work and that is why agricultural cooperation process had started in the country: ‘In accordance with the President’s decree on establishment of large-scale farms, the first farms have already been created in Aghjabedi and Beylagan regions’.
The Minister noted that in future establishment of cooperations would increase the volume of agricultural output: ‘At the same time, export potential of agricultural production will soar’.
He also added that the draft law on Agricultural cooperations has already passed the first reading at the Parliament and it is expected to be adopted in spring session, 2013.
