Baku – APA-Economics. Azerbaijani Minister of Agriculture Ismat Abbasov is on a visit to Berlin (Germany) to participate in the International Green Week (IGW) - one-of-a-kind international exhibition for the food, agricultural, and horticultural industries and the 5th Berlin Agriculture Ministers' Summit.
According to Ministry of Agriculture, within the visit, Abbasov will attend the opening of International Green Week, familiarize with Azerbaijan’s pavilion, as well as attend the agrarian forum to be held in Embassy of Azerbaijan in Germany.
The Minister is planned to meet with Ilse Aigner, German Minister for Food, Agriculture and Consumer Protection, Lars Jaeger, Project Manager for the International Green Week, Helir-Valdor Seeder, Estonian agriculture minister and other persons.
During the visit, an international agreement on inter-ministerial cooperation will be signed in the reception organized by Vigilijus Jukna - Minister of Agriculture in the Lithuanian stand. In the Embassy of Azerbaijan, the Minister Ismat Abbasov will participate in the event on the occasion of 20 January – National Mourning Day.
