Baku. Nijat Mustafayev – APA-Economics. There is big need for establishment of funding system for agricultural sphere and farmers, said CBA Chairman Elman Rustamov, APA-Economics reports.
To him, agriculture is one of the important spheres of Azerbaijan’s economy. The country has great potential to develop this field: ‘In the pre-independence period, especially in 1970s, Azerbaijan exported a significant amount of agricultural products. Today, in order to create this potential, the country needs establishment of financing of agriculture, farm financing system.
‘This issue is open, yet. Work is underway on it’, added Rustamov.
