According to the report, compared to 2008, the country's income from margarine exports rose $13 mln or 54.2% and amounted to $37 mln. By this index, Azerbaijan lags behind only after Ukraine ($17 mln) and Russia ($81 mln) in the CIS.
Armenia and Moldova did not produce margarine during this period at all. In general, last year, the CIS countries produced 1.15 mln tons of margarine worth $264 mln.
