A 110-hectare land plot located at the closest distance to Aghali village has been transformed into 5-hectare parcels for putting into use, Firuddin Taghiyev, the head of the Land Use Control Department of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Azerbaijan said in his statement to journalists APA-Economics reports.

He noted that meetings with the local population will be held from March 1 to 31 on this matter: "They will be informed about the awareness-raising activities and requirements. Then, applications will be registered in the Electronic Agriculture System. Based on the number of applications, the leasing of land reserves available in that area will be revised. The issue of supply and demand might arise here. Our land resources in that area are limited. Overall, the land resources to be offered to the settled population of those villages around the liberated areas are not very abundant. If demand exceeds supply, it is planned that one parcel will be allocated to several families or applicants."
