Farmers in Azerbaijan will be informed about the production of organic agricultural products in 2026-2030, APA-Economics reports.
This issue is reflected in the “State Program on the development of production and processing sectors of agricultural, fisheries and aquaculture products in the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2026-2030.”
According to the document, the country’s production capacity for organic agricultural products will be assessed, and potential products and regions will be selected. Awareness-raising and promotional activities will be carried out among farmers in the selected regions, while pilot organic farms and training programs will be organized.
At the same time, it is planned to establish exemplary farm models related to organic agriculture across the country and increase farmers’ level of awareness regarding organic farming.
